Perspective is about how each person's life and experiences shapes them into who they are for better or for worse. This song tells the story of my childhood as well as the story of another who lives a lifestyle she doesn't want in order to make ends meet. This is a deeply personal song that dives into what my childhood was like and the environment I grew up in. The production and arrangement also follow a linear story that progresses alongside the lyrics.
