Me & You is about being in a long distance relationship. The ups and downs and all the heavy emotions that come with it. One day you want to give up, and the next you want to get on a plane.
Lyrics
She doesn’t pretend anymore
That’s gone for a while
She wants to but she’s got energy no more
And it’s a lonely feeling, got you covered up in the back of my mind
And it’s a lonely evening, for you for me and you
And it’s the same old feeling, got you covered up in the back of my mind
And it’s a lonely evening, for you for me and you
She doesn’t pack her bags anymore
She’s staying a while
She wants to but she’s got energy no more
And it’s a lonely feeling, got you covered up in the back of my mind
And it’s a lonely evening, for you for me and you
And it’s the same old feeling, got you covered up in the back of my mind
And it’s a lonely evening, for you for me and you
And her tears start flowing
It goes on all night
And she can’t stop thinking
She’s lonely and tired
